LCC's 2010 'Reclaim the Road' women's ride on 7 March
LCC is busy preparing for the second annual ride to celebrate International Women’s Day.
This year's theme is ‘Reclaim the Road’, and the ride will be taking place on Sunday 7 March 2010, from 2pm.
The circular route will follow a low-traffic route starting and finishing at the Shortwave Bar & Cinema, where there'll be an after-party from 4pm, including music and film screenings.
Now is your chance to:
- Make suggestions for the route, which will pass places of interest to mark International Women's Day
- Volunteer as a marshal
- Make suggestions of historical, picturesque places of interest for the route to pass
- Suggest names of famous or extraordinary women from history as part of a competition for the day
