Improving cycle parking facilities outside shops

To help reduce the incidence of bicycle theft in London, LCC is lobbying retailers and councils to provide more cycle parking close to where people shop.

The growth in cycling has meant that many bike stands have been full during the summer.

Demand has outstripped supply

The capital needs thousands more proper cycling parking spaces on the streets, outside shops and inside workplaces.
